1. Who we are

2. What data KimiCue collects

KimiCue collects only the minimum data needed to verify your licence and provide support.

• Licence key — when you activate KimiCue Pro, your licence key is sent to our secure licence server to verify it is valid and to bind it to your machine.
• Machine identifier — a one-way hash generated from your hardware and operating system details. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you personally. It is used solely to limit licence activations per device.
• App version — sent alongside licence requests so we can diagnose compatibility issues.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily submit the support form on our website. Used only to reply to your request.
• Crash logs — only if you voluntarily paste or submit them via the support form. These may contain file paths from your machine.

Your audio files are never uploaded. KimiCue analyses audio locally on your device. No audio data leaves your machine.

3. How we use your data

• Verifying that your licence is valid and active.
• Preventing a single licence from being used on more devices than permitted.
• Responding to support requests you initiate.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.

4. Third parties

• Whop — if you purchased KimiCue via Whop, Whop processes your payment and holds your purchase record. See Whop's privacy policy.
• Microsoft Store — if you purchased KimiCue via the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes your payment. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

5. Data storage and retention

Licence verification results are cached locally on your device in your AppData folder and are encrypted and bound to your machine. We do not maintain a database of personal information on our servers beyond what Whop or Microsoft Store provide us as the publisher.

Support requests submitted through the contact form are retained only as long as needed to resolve your issue and are not shared with third parties.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you by visiting our contact page. For data held by Whop or Microsoft, please contact them directly.

7. Children

KimiCue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of KimiCue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
